It's that time of year again when the strawberries are plentiful, ripe, juicy, fresh and scrumptious. I realize I stick to a yearly production of our favourites: fresh strawberry freezer jam and fresh strawberry pie...and so many berries on the morning porridge you can barely see the oats.
Cooked strawberry pie is amazing but we always enjoy one fresh pie in the season. I don't like to use packaged glaze and making it homemade is super easy anyway - and so much tastier.
