O.P.I. recently announced their gorgeous Spring/Summer 2015 Collection inspired by Hawaii. There are 12 new shades that will be available next month (February 2015) and I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at a few of them.
This new collection features a palette ranging from muted tones of mint, peach, pink and nude to bolder hues of coral, green, purple and gold to deep tones of mauve, violet, brick red and shimmery blue. There is a shade for every occasion and preference. Here is a list of the always-cute names and colours:
That’s Hula-rious! (pastel mint green)
My Gecko Does Tricks (bright and pearly green)
Do You Take Lei Away? (creamy nude)
Is Mai Tai Crooked? (orange crème)
Go with the Lava Flow (golden red)
Aloha from OPI (bright creamy coral)
Suzi Shops & Island (light pink)
Just Lanai-ing Around (dark, creamy mauve)
Hello Hawaii (dusky purple)
This Color’s Making Waves (shimmery, lagoon blue)
Lost My Bikini (reef-inspired purple)
Pineapples Have Peelings Too! (gold shimmer with colorful sparkle)
February is right around the corner and I am totally dreaming about sun and sand already. Wouldn't a little escape to the islands be a welcome change from the snow, ice, and cold temps of the north??? (Well, at least my nails can have a trip to Hawaii!).
The new colours are available starting February 4th at salons and spas...that's not too long to wait! The samples I received are That’s Hula-rious!, Do You Take Lei Away? (both shown below on DD's manis), and This Color’s Making Waves, which I'm trying next! They are stunning polishes and they always go on so smoothly with great coverage. I don't have a lot of time to fuss with my polish application so being able to do two fast coats with O.P.I.'s great brush (the exclusive ProWide Brush) is awesome. Daughter loved the shades she tried and got many compliments on both. Both of us really love the nude - it's such a perfect colour (not too orange, not too grey), especially on my very short-at-the-moment nails. Hope you enjoyed this look at the upcoming collection!
