Like Pavlov's dogs, I can't even type this post without my mouth watering! Our friends shared their method for grilling bar-b-qued chicken wings, which are excellent unto themselves, but the last time hubby grilled some up I decided to make a batch Buffalo style.
I've used this 'recipe' since I was a teenager - it's really just melted butter and Frank's RedHot Cayenne Pepper Sauce, and it's so good there's no need to go out for excellent chicken wings, you can make them right at home.
You can follow Frank's recipe and just grill the chicken wings or prepare them first using our friend's method: just toss them in 2/3 cup of flour mixed with 1 Tbsp of paprika and 2 tsp garlic salt and ground pepper - the flour coating makes a nice, crispy crust and helps the sauce stick.
Just because it's Labour Day weekend doesn't mean the grilling has to come to an end. We bar-b-que all year long and your wing-lovers will appreciate these just-the-right-amount-of-heat Buffalo wings.
