I have written often about the amazing quilting, embroidery, cooking, and sewing classes I've taken from Craftsy. I have learned so many new things and been inspired to create beautiful projects I never would have attempted before - from art quilts to croissants!
Having an interest in art has always been a part of who I am, from my earliest memories to creating a portfolio for a university interview. While my life took a different path and my yearbook goal of 'rich artist' didn't quite pan out, I have always held on to that desire and drive to create and lose myself in art. Well...you can imagine my excitement when I saw the new FINE ART CLASSES just released over at Craftsy.
There are 6 classes to take: Narrative Portraiture: Painting in Acrylic, Acrylic Landscape Painting, Perspective in Landscape Drawing, Portraits in Watercolor, Drawn to Painting, and Master Palettes: Exploring Color Mixing. That is a lot to choose from! I'm so excited to try a class but I'm not sure which one to start with! I have some quilt projects to check off my list and I'm still working on a couple of scrapbooks, but I'm really hoping to get back to my original love of drawing and painting with one (or all!!!) of these very impressive looking classes. I am watching the videos from each instructor and I'll choose from there. It's exciting and scary at the same time. Hmmm...I wonder if my paints are still good?
You can check out the FINE ART classes by using any of the links above. You can watch the video introduction of the course and read the overview of what you'll create and learn, the list of lessons to take, and the materials you'll need for the class. If you have an interest in drawing and painting, from long ago or newly found, I'm sure you'll be inspired by one of these artists.
