It only took 14 mohths of work but here is my completed quilt for the Craftsy 2012 Block of the Month class! It was so much fun and I learned a tremendous amount from the class...but I'm ready to put this quilt to bed. I am so happy with the way it turned out (except with the binding: I tried a new stitch to machine-quilt it on and I didn't like it...so I switched to a zig-zag stitch and I don't really like that either!). Once it was washed, the quilting looks really good and there are some blocks with awesome texture. I definitely think pebbles are one of my favourite designs now and I am also getting much better at the Angela Walters' swirl!
So sorry to hear the binding stitching didn't work for you but the quilt looks awesome and even in these pictures the texture of the FMQ really shows. You should be proud of this one, binding and all! :-) :-) :-)

It is beautiful! I know I learned so much with the sampler quilt that I made. I still need to make a few of these blocks although I don't think I want to tackle the whole quilt. How you doin' on the 2013 BOM? :)
