It was kind of a miracle but I managed to get all the blocks made during the Connecting Threads Perfect Points quilt along joined together in a quilt. As I explain in the video, it was a challenge to not only join the blocks together but then also to decide how to quilt the quilt! I show you all the different techniques I used - pretty much everything I know, using both the walking foot and free-motion quilting - on this one quilt...definitely a sampler in all aspects! It is now hanging over the fireplace in my workshop - a constant reminder to expand and improve with every quilt I make!
Remember, you can sign up for the Craftsy class, Machine Quilting, for 50% off by clicking on the link to the right. I learned many of the techniques and patterns used in the quilt during the class. It is a great way to learn how to quilt or improve & expand what you already know!
It's beautiful! I love the color scheme. The points look pretty perfect in the video! And I like that you tried lots of different quilting. I'm working on a sampler myself and still unsure how I'll quilt it. Maybe different types like you did. :)
