The first time I renovated a kitchen, way back in the mid-90s, I was given a can of Countertop Magic from the cabinet company. My sister had used the product and recommended it highly. It "cleans, protects and polishes all solid surfaces", especially laminate, and "removes most food-based stains and leaves a streak-free, long-lasting shine". I really like using Countertop Magic to restore the luster to my kitchen counters and it works wonders on all my scrapbook room tables - making them look brand new! I have had that one can (shown left) ever since and, as you can see, it's showing its age. There is still a little product remaining, but it doesn't spray out of the can very well.
Now that I have my beautiful new workshop, complete with a gorgeous laminate work surface, I decided I could splurge on a brand new can of Countertop Magic. The only problem? I couldn't find it in any store! Google to the rescue...and a janitorial supply company somewhere in Canada. The cost was $13.99 for the spray and $10.99 for shipping. Yes, that's a lot for a polish but I figured my last can lasted fifteen years...that's only $1.66 a year - less than .03 cents per use - for beautiful, shiny countertops! (And it's waaaayyy cheaper in the States, $6.29!) I am pleased to have a fancy, non-rusted, large can of the product that actually sprays. Magic happens once again on cleaning day.
