There's nothing like the pending arrival of overnight guests to get yourself in gear with spring cleaning! I recently had my m-i-l and aunt-i-l over and did a pretty good job of getting the house ready. It's amazing how much you can do with the vacuum and attachments. When I'm in the spring cleaning mode I will use the brush attachment to go over all the tops of the walls, near the ceilings where the cobwebs tend to develop, as well as all the tops of doors, trim, and baseboards. I also run over the decorative squares on the doors, front and back. Basically, any horizontal surface that gathers dust gets the once over with the vacuum. It's a bit time consuming but not really hard work and nothing to clean up since it all goes directly into the vacuum.
That job done, plus all the regular cleaning, and a bit of extra attention to the floors...windows washed and beds changed, comforters and blankets laundered, walls dusted with the soft floor mop, and chandeliers windexed - that's pretty much the sum of my spring clean. It feels great to get it done and as things come up I will tend to them but for now, the bulk of the job is finished for this season! Yay!
WOMAN!! YOUR KILLING ME!! :) TA-HEEE.... :) thank you for making me want to clean cobwebs... lol ;) too super sweet you are!!
