Here is the recipe for the chocolate chip banana loaf I made during my time in the kitchen while the floor was being done. It was very moist and chocolaty and everyone really enjoyed eating it (and they didn't even notice that half of the flour was whole wheat!)
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips
350 degrees F (180 degrees C), greased 9x5" loaf pan, 1 to 1-1/4 hours or until tester comes out clean.
