Here are a couple more things I picked up last week to play with...only I haven't even had time to open them, much less play with them! It has been a very busy week and weekend, with company, birthdays, work, and lost dogs. These stamps are just too cute and I couldn't resist picking them out to "top up" my on-line order. The are very tiny, about 2"x2" but I thought the giraffe would be cute to colour and the little notebook pages could end up as a tiny journaling spot in a scrapbook, paper bag mini or even on the inside of a card.
This stamp set from Basicgrey is actually a Christmas-themed clear set but I really liked the post-mark stamp and the lined ledger stamp. There are also a couple snowflakes that are beautiful and a small "menu" title that I'm sure I can use somewhere in my entertaining!
I ordered one more item, which I will show you another time, but also in my shipment was the little gift bag. Inside were:3 Valentine die-cuts and a package of giant, epoxy "Y"s...hmmm, I really like them but I will have to figure out how to incorporate them into a page or card...anyhow it's always great to get free stuff even if you're not sure what to do with it!
Off to make the frosting for my DH's birthday cake. I will post the vid tomorrow.
Follow-up to the Copic research: I have tracked down a certified colour-er...not sure if we'll connect but I would love to take a course on the proper use of these markers. There is the potential for a class in 2010 nearby...they're few certification locations in Canada...I'd love to become a certified instructor!!!!!
