Energy ball recipes seem to be everywhere these days and true to their name, often are densely packed with both nutrition AND calories (the energy part!). Weight Watchers came out with their own version and are happily only 2 'points' a ball. They are made with dates, almond butter, almonds, oats, chia, and flax with just a touch of cocoa powder. They are no-bake and super fast to mix up making them a last-minute winner for my Christmas celebration and health-conscious family members. Dusted with a bit of icing sugar they even look festive!
The recipe can be found on the Weight Watchers Canada website HERE. It yields about 24 snowballs and they store well in the fridge for a week or more. I love to grab one after my workout in the morning, just enough to keep me going. At only 2 points...I often grab two!!!!
