Nothing says love like a red velvet cupcake!! My friend gave me these cute Wilton heart cupcake papers and they were perfect to use with a red velvet cupcake kit I picked up at the store. These were even better than the Betty Crocker kit I shared in November but sadly, I think the President's
Choice brand is only available in Canada! I'm glad I had the heart liners because the papers included with the kit were a weird size - too large for a 24-cup mini muffin pan and too small for a 12-cup regular muffin pan. I ditched those and got about 17 regular cupcakes from the mix. Included were yummy cream-cheese frosting which you mix up fresh (it was much thicker and tastier than the BC kit), as well as red sugar sprinkles. These red velvet cupcakes were so soft and had a great flavour - with no artificial colours or flavourings. Yum! Happy Valentine's Day!

OMG I looove Red Velvet cake! Those look yummy. President's Choice used to be available at the grocery store I worked at in North Carolina. They had a lot of good stuff. Their cookies were so yummy! I have not seen it since, though. We knew it came from Canada since one side had English and the other side French!
