Yesterday I shared my Thanksgiving quilt and I wrote how it was the first time I used pantograph quilting (an all-over repetitive design traced with a laser on a quilt frame).
I was really stumped as to how to line up the second line of quilting. I had no problem tracing the design with the laser or rolling up the quilt, I just couldn't figure out how to get the patterns to nest.
There were no YouTube vids I could find that clearly show the steps needed to advance the quilt in a way to achieve perfect all-over quilting. Once I (with help from my hubby) figured out how to do it easily - every time - I knew I wanted to film it. I'm sure I can't be the only person confused by the process and I hope I help someone figure it out. It's still a bit tricky and it's something you really have to try yourself to SEE how it works. Anyway, here is my attempt to show you how to accurately line up the 2nd line of quilting on a pantograph!

Fabulous video Angie. You did an excellent job of explaining the process. Even though I don't have a frame machine, if (when?) I get mine, I'll know how to use a pantograph. thanks!
