Friends and Family

I love this scrapbook page!  I was determined to use up all the scraps from my paper purge and that meant getting creative with what I had.  I used the remnants of the Discover paper pack from the Creative Memories Power Palette to showcase 2 miscellaneous photos I wanted to scrap: one of my friend and me out for lunch, and one of my DH and son participating in a charity race.  It's not often that I have "stray" single photos of an event so this was the perfect opportunity to just have fun with the page.  I used up some letter stickers for the title and the Cricut for the "and" die-cut and flower accent, with a really pretty brad in the centre.  I mounted the photos on the blue and green areas (I removed them for this post).  But my favourite part is where I folded some small, leftover strips of paper, accordion style, to frame the page.  I stapled each end with a blue staple.  I can't believe how well the whole thing came together with just scraps (and it looks even better with the photos)!
